Horizon Sun Charters Corporation (“Horizon Sun Charters”, “we”, “us”) operates private seaplane charters in the Philippines and the website seaplanes.ph. We handle personal information in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

1Information we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and nationality.
• Trip details: preferred dates, route, number of passengers, luggage weight, resort or hotel, and special requests.
• Messages you send us through our website forms, email, Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct or WhatsApp. When you message our Facebook Page or Instagram account, we receive your message, your public name or username, and an ID that Meta assigns to the conversation.
• Booking and payment information: accepted charter terms, chosen payment method, payment references and receipts you upload.
• Passenger information needed for the flight manifest, safety and regulatory compliance (for example passenger names and weights).
• Website usage: whether our offer pages and welcome video were opened, to understand interest in our offers.

We do not store credit card numbers. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider.

2How we use your information

• To answer your inquiry and prepare your charter offer.
• To confirm, operate and coordinate your flight, transfers and resort arrangements.
• To request and verify payments and send booking confirmations.
• To follow up on your inquiry (no more than four follow-up messages).
• To meet safety, aviation and legal requirements.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3Who we share it with

• Service providers that help us run our business, such as Google (email and secure storage), Meta (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp messaging), our web host and our payment providers (BPI, Wise, PayPal, Global Payments).
• Resorts, boat operators or ground transport partners, only as needed to arrange your trip.
• Government or aviation authorities when required by law.

4How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and booking records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet accounting, aviation and legal obligations. Inquiries that do not become bookings are kept for up to two years and then deleted.

5Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.

6Data deletion requests

To have your data deleted, including any information we received through Facebook or Instagram:

1. Email info@seaplanes.ph with the subject “Delete my data”, or send the message “Delete my data” to our Facebook Page or Instagram account.
2. Tell us the name, email address or social media account you used to contact us.
3. We delete your information within 30 days and confirm by reply.

Records we are legally required to keep (for example completed flight and payment records) are kept only for the period the law requires.

7Security

Your information is stored in access-controlled systems that only authorised Horizon Sun Charters staff can use.
